KitchenAid stand mixer repair for Toronto
I am not in Toronto. My workshop is in Vaughan, just north of Canada's Wonderland, about 30 to 40 minutes up the 400 from downtown. Plenty of Toronto owners make the drive, because the repair is a fraction of a new mixer and it comes back fixed, not patched.
Where two prices are shown, the first is for tilt-head mixers (Artisan, Classic, Ultra Power) and the second for bowl-lift mixers (Professional 600, Pro 5 Plus, Pro Line), which take longer to strip down and rebuild.
- Re-grease and gasket replacementThe most common KitchenAid fault I see. Old grease breaks down, the gasket hardens, and oil starts weeping out under the base and into the bowl.
$100 any mixer
- Re-grease, gasket and worm gear replacementBest valueThe most complete service I do: a new worm gear, a new gasket and a full re-grease in one visit. Doing everything at once means one strip-down and costs less than booking repairs separately.
$150 tilt-head
$175 bowl-lift
- Power cord replacementA worn power cord is a safety problem, not just an annoyance. I replace the cord and the strain relief so the lead is properly anchored again.
$70 tilt-head
$95 bowl-lift
- Speed controller replacementWhen the mixer only runs flat out, ignores the speed dial, or will not switch off, the speed controller has failed.
$125 tilt-head
$150 bowl-lift
- DiagnosticsFor mixers that do not match any of the symptoms above. I find the fault, tell you what it needs and what it will cost, and you decide from there.
$40 any mixer

Pick up and drop off across Vaughan, Kleinburg and King City: $20. Drop it off yourself: free.
Every repair is test run before it comes back, and covered for 90 days on the parts replaced and the work done.
Toronto is where many of my customers come from, and the arrangement is simple: you drop the mixer off with me in Vaughan by appointment, I do the work, and you collect it when it is done, usually 2 to 3 business days later. Drop-off is free. I do not pick up in Toronto, and I would rather say that plainly than promise it and charge you for the trip.
What you get for the drive is the same KitchenAid stand mixer repair I do for everyone else: the fault found properly, a price confirmed before any work starts, the old grease cleaned out, new parts where they are needed, and a test run under load before it leaves the bench. Every price is published on this page, and the number you see is the number you pay.
From downtown, Teston Road and Cityview Boulevard is the Highway 400 north to Teston Road, two exits past Canada’s Wonderland. From the east end or Scarborough, the 401 to the 400 is usually quicker than the 407. Text me when you are on your way and I will be ready for you.
If you are weighing whether it is worth the trip, start with what the mixer is doing. Leaking oil or grinding on an older Artisan, Classic or Professional 600 is almost always a $100 to $175 fix, and the mixer you have is probably better built than the one in the store.
On the way: Thornhill, Vaughan, Woodbridge. Pick up and drop off for $20 is available in Vaughan, Kleinburg and King City. Book a drop-off or text me what the mixer is doing.
